Door closer 836:

Door closer adjustments:

• the valve must not be turned more than two turns counterclockwise from the factory position, as the screw may come loose and oil may leak out
• the initial closing speed must be adjusted first and then the final closing speed (latching speed)
• the capacity/strenght of the door closer can be adjusted with a hexagon screw
• if necessary, the windscreen brake (Back check) can be adjusted. Turning the valve clockwise the brake applies earlier, turning the valve counterclockwise the brake applies later
• closing force can be adjusted with a hexagon screw (Power Adj.) which is located at the top of the closer. Turning the screw clockwise makes the closing force stronger, turning counterclockwise makes the closing force weaker
